The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office is putting up for bid a 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor. The vehicle is a black in color four door with 149,075 miles. In the past the vehicle has been used as a patrol vehicle, civil processing vehicle and transport vehicle. The miles are city and highway. The vehicle has holes in the dash, roof and interior due to the installation of emergency lights, sirens and radio. The rear bench seat is plastic and the overall interior is in good condition for a vehicle that is 12 years old. The body is in great shape for a 2014 vehicle and the tires are in good condition. The vehiclestarts up and runs well.
Vehicle is sold as is, no warranty!

NO ITEM OR VEHICLE WILL BE VIEWED OR PICKED UP WITHOUT ANAPPOINTMENT.
No maintenance or repair work of any type will be permitted on Carbon County Sheriff’s Office property.
All tags and license plates will be removed and temporary tags/plates WILL NOT be provided. Radios and any other special equipment previously added have been removed from vehicle.

ITEM, YOU MUST PROVIDE AUTHORIZATION VIA EMAIL OR IN WRITING, ALONG
WITH PROOF OF YOUR IDENTIFICATION.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN THE DESIGNATED TIME FRAME.
ANY ITEM UNCLAIMED WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED AND RELISTED ON PUBLIC SURPLUS.

Exterior Deficiencies: Some holes and scuffs overall.
Interior: Is in good shape with a plastic rear bench seat.
Interior Deficiencies: The interior does have hole from emergency equipment installation as well as a used police console that does have drink holders and an arm rest. Dash does have a notched-out area where a citation printer was installed.
Selling "As-Is”: We do NOT have a certified mechanic in department to inspect these vehicles.
Absence of any mention of defects does not mean there are none. We strongly encourage you to inspect the vehicle/equipment before you bid.
Buyer is completely responsible for removing this vehicle from where it sits. We do not offer towing/loading services.

Auction Pick up Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 3:30 pm by appointment only.
Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding, by appointment. Bidders must adhere to the inspection dates and times indicated in the item description or contact the person listed to schedule the inspection.
PayMac handles all payments for Carbon. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.
Carbon County sales tax may be added to all purchases made. The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium shall be added to the Final sale Price. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment.
The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you. All sales are final.
Carbon County may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item, including the cost of packing and/or shipping of any item(s) if necessary.
